The Festival of BEER & FLOWERS has become the most visited and entertaining tourist event in Slovenia. Each year the little town of Laško, with only 3,600 inhabitants, plays host to more than 120,000 visitors in five days. During the Festival there are nearly thirty watering holes, large and small, in the old town centre: the town's inns open their doors wide and numerous beer tents spring up overnight. Between them they offer all kinds of live music, by various bands from Slovenia and abroad. Throughout the week, there are countless opportunities for visitors to quench their thirst for culture and entertainment. And you can relax with a refreshing pint of cold Laško beer at the lowest price in Slovenia!
The highlight of the Festival is the craziest Saturday night with magnificent fireworks lasting for a whole thirty minutes, and attracting over 60,000 spectators. This is definitely a night you should not miss!
